Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of KickOn, a progressive web app for football club management. By creating an account, joining a club, or using the platform's features, you agree to these terms.

2. Service description

KickOn helps manage multi-club organizations, teams, players, call-ups, calendars, attendance, internal communication, parental consent workflows, player administrative files, sports statistics, match or training reports, exports, push notifications, live match views, and AI assistants depending on enabled permissions. Some features depend on the user's role, the options enabled by the club, or compatible third-party services.

3. Access to the service

Access to KickOn requires an active account and valid authentication. Depending on the available flow, sign-in may happen through email and password or through a compatible third-party authentication provider. Each user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for actions performed from their account.

4. Authorized use

  • provide accurate information and keep it up to date;
  • use KickOn for legitimate club or team operations;
  • respect the confidentiality of information available through the platform;
  • not disrupt the service, bypass security, or extract data without authorization;
  • respect the rights of other users, including privacy and shared content rights.

5. Submitted data and content

You remain responsible for the information, messages, statistics, administrative notes, reports, files, call-ups, and other content you enter into KickOn. You must have the necessary authorization before entering data about other people, especially minor players, parents, staff members, and club members. Assist/AI features must not be used to enter secrets, unnecessary medical information, or unlawful content.

6. Use by minors

Some KickOn features concern minor players. Clubs and legal guardians must ensure that all required authorizations are obtained before any registration or data collection. KickOn may provide parental consent workflows, but their correct use remains the responsibility of authorized persons.

7. Notifications and communications

KickOn may send notifications related to service operations, internal messages, call-ups, events, and consent requests. Push notifications are only enabled with your permission and can be disabled at any time from your browser or device settings.

8. Availability and changes

KickOn is provided as is. We make reasonable efforts to ensure security, continuity, and product evolution, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the total absence of errors. Because the app is a PWA, some public pages or Supabase actions may be cached, synchronized, or replayed when the network returns, without guaranteeing that every offline action succeeds. Features may be added, modified, limited, or removed for technical, product, security, or compliance reasons.

9. Third-party services and paid options

Some features rely on third-party services or technical processors, including authentication, hosting, database services, backend functions, email delivery, notifications, application monitoring, Assist/AI processing, and, if enabled by your organization, subscription and payment management. Using these services may also imply additional terms imposed by those providers.

10. Intellectual property

KickOn, its interface, visual elements, generic content, structure, and code are protected by applicable rights. Unless prior written permission is granted, you may not copy, adapt, distribute, or exploit these elements outside the normal use of the platform.

11. Suspension or removal of access

Access to KickOn may be limited, suspended, or removed in cases of misuse, breach of these terms, security risk, legal obligation, or at the request of the organization managing your access. You may also request account deletion according to the privacy policy.

12. Changes to the terms

These terms may evolve to reflect product changes, third-party services in use, or the applicable legal framework. The version published in KickOn is the authoritative version, and material changes will be communicated by appropriate means.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought first before bringing the matter before the competent court.
